Black Thursday. Janek Wiśniewski fell

Going for a movie about modern Polish history was wondering what he really know about the years just before my birth. Somehow I came out that the period between 1945 and 1989 strikes me as a black hole with stains surges workers' campaign against anti-Jewish and later the creation of "S" and a state of war. In total, a few dates, a few characters, a vague background and lack of knowledge of cause and effect ...

" Black Thursday" tried to patch up the gap - not by big names, great history and martyrdom hard but talking about events in Gdynia, from the perspective of both workers and the government. Some people wanted to live in dignity and have as to what to eat while others remain at the helm ...

film, to his credit, from beginning to end, keeps you in suspense. Like to know what's going to happen next and how the story ends but hard eyes off the screen. A huge round of applause among the developers for urban scenes - climate rage shipyard workers and later street fighting is done masterfully. The same applies to the use of original recordings of these events - woven into the plot adds authenticity to the whole film ...

only thing you can attach to the role of the wife of slain Drywy Bruno (who was immortalized in song as Janek Wisniewski). Writer did not quite know what to do with her figure and Marta Honzatko also not flashed talent than genius ...

worth seeing "Black Thursday". For some, this will be an opportunity for memories, for others knowledge of the history of a piece of his own country ...
